Meta expands Creator Marketplace tool access so it’s easier for businesses to connect with creators for campaigns on Instagram.

TikTok

The European Commission has opened formal proceedings against TikTok under the Digital Services Act. They are looking into TikTok policies on protection of minors, advertising transparency, data access for researchers, as well as the risk management of addictive design and harmful content.

Google

Google Ads introduced a “Recently Used” Call To Action on Performance Max cards on the platform. The cards are also much bigger, with the aim to push more advertisers into using the automated campaign type. Read more here.

Google Analytics 4 launches default Google Ads report. The report was previously available in Universal Analytics and can now be found in the performance reporting section of your GA4 account.

YouTube

YouTube has expanded access to its “Create” editing app. With users from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey all now gaining access to the tool.
