Instagram now allows you to save public reels directly to your camera roll. The feature has been available in the US since June and is now available globally. Read more on The Verge.

Meta have confirmed their plans for 2024 Elections, stating that they will block new political ads during the final week of the US election campaign and will require advertisers globally to disclose when they use AI or digital methods to create or alter a political or social issue ad in certain cases. TikTok

Long form content is taking off on TikTok. The platform is reporting that users are spending over half of their time watching longer videos, and creators who post long form content can grow their following 5x faster than those only posting short form. Read more here.
